The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Yano, I'm seriously in the mood to just get a fucking gun and shoot the entire world. God damnit, what is it with fucking guys - and girls - that everyone is fucking using me all the fucking time!
I am so fucking sick of it. Sorry guys, but I ain't no fucking object you use for sexual shit. I ain't here for cybersex, nude pics and sex, alright! I am a fucking human being! Unlike you douchebags.
Alright, the summary: Justin Dionela: just pretended to be friends for fucking nude pics. Typical. He doesn't even know who I am anymore, god damnit.

You know what, I'm just through with it. WHat the fuck is this for a fucking life?! Everyone fucking uses me and I am just fuc,king SICK of it! Just..ugh, I give up.

head up precious, the whole world isn't ENTIRELY made up of fucktards. i mean, there are a shitload more of them than there are that are not, sorta thing.... i dont even know if that makes sense... but yeah, just remember that you've got people here who think youre awesome and wont use you! :3

wats the saying... dust your hands of those people...or something like that...im not sure if its dust but anyway, theyr not worth your time.

also, take these experiences and learn from them, im not saying be suspicious of everyone you meet, but from time to time theres gonna be a dickhead appear in your life. and when that happens and you find out that person is a dickhead then be happy that you found out fullstop before something potentially seriously bad couldve happened or when you feel you trust them and when you need them they ditch you...or something...i cant construct the sentences right Dx and english is my FIRST language. like, i have a friend that got dumped a few months back by her bf that she loved dearly, basically his excuse was that when he finishes uni - which is 2-3 years from now - he plans to move away, so it was better to hurt her now than hurt her after all the added stuff and junk that couldve happened during the next 2-3 years if they stayed together.....

but yeah, knowing who is a dickhead is always a good thing, learning who is a dickhead is another good thing. but while you dont know theyr a dickhead, why not try and enjoy your time with those dickheads that havent appeared to be a dickhead yet? did i mention the word "dickhead"?

so yeah, i dunno if any of that made sense, but like, just try and enjoy everything and forget about the bad stuff. bad stuff is bad << quote of the century

First thing to notice is that they aint friends if thats the reason they hang out with you.

Unfortunately a guys love is extremly fickle. Alot of guys cant stick to just one girl, there is another group who can stick with a single girl but some just cant. If a relationship is based mainly on sex then its pointless, its not a proper relationship.
You will find people who dont use you, just pay close attention to how people act. Human nature is easy to read so you can figure out what a person is like just from a glance. (personal experience)

It will only get better if you want it to and try.
